ENC file format is document file format. This file format is used by Encore software application.
This file format is used to store musical notations in document format. ENC is used to save musical notations document and MusicXML is the format which defines the structure of ENC file format. MusicXML is extension of XML file format and the formatting rules used in MusicXML file format is same as that of any other XML based file format.
