VST (Virtual Studio Technology) is a software application which is used to integrate effect plugins and audio synthesizer with recording systems and audio editors. The plugins used for this purpose have file extension of .FXB.

The FXB file format contains all the data required for complete installation and working of the plugin with the software application.
