What is a .ATOM file?
The most common data format on the web.
An .atom file is an Atom Syndication Feed - an XML document that websites publish so feed readers can automatically pull in new blog posts, commits, or other content. Open it by subscribing to its URL in a feed reader such as Feedly, Inoreader, or Thunderbird, or by opening it in a text editor to read the raw XML. It cannot execute code and carries no direct security risk.
