What is a .CID file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .cid file is a coDiagnostiX user-defined implant definition, a small parameter file that adds a custom dental implant (its dimensions and drilling protocol) to Straumann's coDiagnostiX guided-surgery software. You do not open it by double-clicking; you import it from inside coDiagnostiX. Without that application the file is not usable. The same extension is also used by unrelated Adobe CID-keyed fonts.
