What is a .LAYOUT file?
The most common data format on the web.
A .layout file belongs to Apple MainStage and stores the visual arrangement of screen controls and channel strips inside a .mainstage concert package. You do not open it directly. Open the parent .mainstage file in MainStage and switch to Layout mode. The file is a binary Apple property list and poses no security risk.
