What is a .NMF file?
The most common data format on the web.
An NMF file is most commonly a Google Native Client Manifest, a small JSON file that told Chrome which compiled native executable to load for a web app. Google deprecated this technology in 2017 and removed it from non-ChromeOS Chrome in 2022. To view one, any text editor works; the file is plain JSON. If it came from an ArcGIS Explorer package it is a GIS map project file; if from NICE Systems call recording software it is a proprietary audio file.
