What is a .PEZ file?

A PEZ file is a Prezi Classic offline presentation, a ZIP bundle that holds the zooming canvas, embedded media, and a standalone player. Prezi Classic Desktop was discontinued on June 30, 2022, and the current Prezi (prezi.com) does not open .pez files. If you still have the old desktop app installed, use it to export to PDF or video. Otherwise, rename .pez to .zip to access the contents.

Will it look exactly like in PowerPoint?
Close, but not pixel-perfect. Text, shapes, pictures, tables, colours and the theme are redrawn from the file. Animations, transitions, charts, SmartArt and some special effects are simplified or skipped.
Can I see the speaker notes?
Yes. Notes appear under the current slide whenever the author added them, and they're counted in the info panel.
What about old .PPT files?
For PowerPoint 97-2003 files the viewer extracts the text of every slide, titles and bullets included, but doesn't draw the layout yet. Save the file as PPTX for a full preview.
And Apple Keynote?
Keynote files keep their slides in a proprietary format. If the file contains its built-in preview image we show it; otherwise export the deck from Keynote as PPTX or PDF.
