What is a .PRNX file?

A PRNX file is a saved, already-rendered report document created by DevExpress XtraReports, a .NET reporting toolkit used in business applications. No consumer app opens it; it requires the DevExpress Document Viewer inside the program that created it. If someone sent you a .prnx file, the practical fix is to ask them to re-export the report as PDF, Excel, or RTF.

Why does my older .PRNX file look plain?
