What is a .RML file?
The most common data format on the web.
An RML file is an Autodesk Redline Markup Language file, an XML annotation overlay created by the discontinued Volo View application to layer comments and shapes on CAD drawings without changing them. No current software opens it visually; a text editor shows the raw XML. The format was abandoned in 2005.
