What is a .UPD file?
The most common data format on the web.
A UPD file is most often a plain-text update notes file, similar to a readme, listing what changed in a software release. Open it in any text editor to read it. A smaller number of programs and devices use .upd for a binary update package, which you apply through the originating software's own updater, not by hand.
