What is a .ACL file?
The most common data format on the web.
An ACL file is a Microsoft Office AutoCorrect List - a binary file that stores your personal text replacements such as "teh" to "the" used by Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You cannot open it directly; manage entries through the Office AutoCorrect Options dialog. To move your list to another computer, copy the MSO####.acl file to the same folder on the new machine.
