What is a .LIS file?
The most common data format on the web.
A LIS file is a plain-text report generated by an SQR (Structured Query Reporting) program, most often delivered by Oracle PeopleSoft or Hyperion batch jobs. Open it in any text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++. If the file shows garbled characters, it contains PCL (Printer Control Language) sequences and needs a PCL viewer.
